Character and Competence

Personal Development focuses on an individual’s character and competence.  Tragically leaders give more attention to the development of competence than character. Our current financial situation points to the effects of characterless leaders. A profound truth that we are learning is that a lack of character can undermine the effectiveness of any leader.    One’s development of character begins in our growing relationship with Jesus Christ.  As you coach leaders to grow in their character, what practical suggestions do you give leaders?
